Welcome to the 2017 S1 cohort!

Hungarian Chicken paprika, Italian Carbonara or Korean Rice Wine were just a few of the exquisite dishes our CEMSies prepared for our Running Dinner  on April 5th. We organised teams of two and, because we’re mean, we only announced them a few days in advance! The three courses were hosted in different locations, allowing for changes of scene and atmosphere. More than 60 CEMSies attended and made sure to make the best out of a night filled with eating, drinking and mingling! Awesome night.

On Friday, April 7th, 20 CEMS students participated in a half-day Skills Seminar conducted by OFX, Australia’s leading FX payments company. During the seminar, students gained essential insights into CV writing, interviews and much more. Role-playing and interactive Q&A sessions made the event enjoyable, informative and more than engaging! Thank you OFX.

The Surf Camp at Seal Rocks, 3th of March to 5th of March, was a nice way to start the semester and meet fellow classmates. Even though the weather wasn’t the best (it seems to be always a bit rocky at Seal Rocks ;)), everyone sure had a great time socialising and learning how to surf!

We had an insightful Global Alumni Week, 13th to 19th of March, organised by our Corporate Relations & Alumni Team. During the week CEMS Club Sydney had the pleasure of hosting a Webinar, Life After CEMS Alumni Talk, Charity Movie Night and to top off the whole week we had a nice CEMS Secret Brunch! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves! Huge thank you to all the attendees, guest speakers and alumni members!

On 27th of February 2017, the Welcome Dinner took place at USYD Campus. Our new Master in Management and CEMS Master in Management students were officially welcomed by the University of Sydney Business School. The evening event hosted CEMS Sydney corporate partners and alumni, providing all students with the opportunity to immerse themselves into the dynamic and professional business environment, as well as connect with their new classmates.
